AUTHOR ~ POET ~ PHOTOGRAPHER ~ TEDx speaker
Originally from India, now settled in New Zealand, Jol has been a creative since childhood.
After a stint in left-brain software development, she decided to embrace her creativity and became a professional portrait photographer. She devoted several years to capturing the hidden beauty and strength in women’s faces, giving them the space to be seen and valued for what they are beyond roles.
When the call of writing became too insistent, she finally followed her childhood dream and took to writing. she started with poems and short stories until the novel began to take shape on paper.
Deciding to dedicate all her attention on this precious gift, this labour of love was finally finished and is called SONG OF THE ANKLETS. It is awaiting publication.
